Our First Annual Trust Games

We held our First Annual Trust Games, held at the Riverside Stadium in Chester-le-Street. All secondary schools across the Trust came together for a full day of track and field events, each one contributing valuable points in the race to claim the inaugural trophy.

Despite soaring temperatures brought on by the summer heatwave, students showed exceptional determination. Their performances were defined not only by athletic ability but by the values the Trust champions: collaboration, resilience, and community. Throughout the day, pupils supported one another, forged new friendships, and demonstrated what can be achieved when schools unite under a shared purpose.

The competition remained close, with every event adding to the excitement. In the end, North Durham Academy emerged as the overall winners, lifting the trophy after a series of strong team and individual performances.
